Created by Kelsey Redmond, "OC Cabaret: Music. Art. Live." is monthly show where you can enjoy a variety of talent from Southern California's artists, LIVE!

Previous show performances have included: musicians, singers, puppeteers, writers, poets, spoken word artists, performances of monologues and new works as well as original pieces. Shows are at 8pm every last Tuesday of every month at

ImprovCity: 138 W Main St. Tustin, CA.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: ADRIAN GOMEZ (HE/HIM)

Adrian Gomez comes from the far-away land of Arizona. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor's degree in Theatre. You may have seen him in the famous blue polo as a Helpful Honda person during the Superbowl, caught him onstage as a professional improvisor at ImprovCity, or as a parent hopeful in the award-winning short film "Federal Approved Parent." Lately he's been fortunate enough to have been cast in several upcoming Miscellanea TV projects, and looks forward to seeing them premiere in film festivals, soon!

 

HOST: KELSEY REDMOND (SHE/HER)

Kelsey Redmond is an actor and singer for hire, mainly found on stage and screen. Usually distracted because her sequins are too loud. Owner of KELScabaret, the company behind her two monthly variety shows OC Cabaret and LA Cabaret. 2x Best Vocals, ImprovCity. Silver Award Best Actress Paris Film Awards for "Make Your Bed." Sharon Rae Massey is excited to be back at OC Cabaret with so many great friends! She loves the opportunity to sing songs that she may never get to sing anywhere else which is why she chose to have fun with song. Special shout out to her boyfriend, who is her biggest fan and she hopes this song doesn’t make him too uncomfortable! Remember: if we couldn’t laugh we would all go insane!

Hannah Cameron

Hannah Cameron has been involved in all things singing and theater for as long as she can remember. You may find her most recently as Sarah in the award winning short film Make Your Bed, in addition to playing Sarah in American Cheese's Secret Santa short film. When she's not singing, Hannah can be found playing guitar and making puns, as well as performing Sunday nights here at ImprovCity.

Sarah Villacarillo (she/her) is an Orange County, CA native and is excited to be making her OC Cabaret debut! Regional theatre credits: Dogfight (Ensemble/Rose u/s), Elf the Musical (Ensemble), and Clue (Cook/Female u/s). She has also been cast in several independent films and is a member of the Pasadonuts Improv Troupe. In her down time, Sarah is editing and posting vlogs on her YouTube channel or uploading cringey TikToks. She also enjoys thrifting, going to the beach, and fangirling over Jordan Fisher. Sarah has received her AA in Theater Arts and Dance as well as a Certificate in Musical Theatre from Cypress College. Tj Punchard (he/him) writer and director of No Greater Love: The Musical. Tours: Cinderella (Prince Topher), Cats (Rum Tum Tugger), Advent Carol (John/Gabriel), No Greater Love (Judas/John); Regional: Quasimodo (Hunchback of Notre Dame), Lt (Sweaty) Eddie in Sister Act!, Pirates of Penzance (Frederic), Spelling Bee (Mitch Mahoney - NJACT Perry Award for Best Supporting Actor), A Chorus Line (Richie), Songs for a New World (Man #1 - NJACT Perry Award nomination for best leading actor in a musical), Seussical (Horton the Elephant). Tj has a BFA in musical theatre from Cal State Fullerton, an MA in Animal Behavior, a MA in Clinical Psychology, and currently pursuing his doctorate in clinical psychology. Tj would like to thank God along with his friends and family for the constant love and support.

Bianca is most known on TikTok as Miss B @missbsinger where she is a comedic
content creator and gives advice to young actors. She was announced the writer winner
for the 2022 "Ya Tu Sabes!" Monologue Slam presented by NBC! Recently, she just
released an original song called “Please” which you can download on all streaming
platforms!

Let’s time travel back to 2012, this would be the first time Anissa had ever been to a professional Broadway show. What show would this be? The only correct answer is: WICKED. Tonight Anissa is performing a song in honor of the wicked witch herself. Shes a lover of all things spooky and witchy & felt that this would be a fun turn of events. She hopes that you all enjoy tonight’s show and have a “Wicked” time!

Tim is excited to be back at the OC Cabaret! He's currently a cast member of ImprovCity's Friday/Saturday troupe. He has been always striving to expand his creativity, whether through acting classes, guitar lessons, or singing lessons. You can catch him on select Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm or 9:30pm each month. Being on stage and moving people, either to laughter or tears, is what makes him feel alive.

Orange County based soprano, Sarah Salazar, is elated to return to OC Cabaret! Salazar has an understanding of the vocal instrument which allows her to seamlessly cross genres. Because of this, Salazar has been seen throughout California performing opera, musical theater, and pop. She has performed with numerous companies and was Miss Tustin in 2010 and was awarded the preliminary and non finalist talent awards at Miss California. Justin is excited to take a night off of helping run the Scary event a few miles down the road to step a little out of his comfort zone by not singing a song from a musical. John Miller (vocals) and Shelby Burnett (violin)

John Miller is a singer songwriter who is best known for performing under his own band… “John Miller”. He’s excited to be back performing at OC cabaret for the second time, but this time with the extraordinary violin player, Shelby Burnett for accompaniment. He would like the audience to know that he is also one of the original founders of the Steve Pepper fan club. Catch him and the band headlining at the Tiki Bar Costa Mesa October 26th.

 

“Shelby Burnett has had the honor of sharing her music with the world for the past 25 years in hopes of bringing healing to the soul through her spontaneous melodies. She has a gift  of seamlessly blending classical finesse with contemporary flair, creating a harmonious fusion of the old and new.

Some of her more prominent works include performing for our ambassadors at the the United Nations, recording with Travesura for the Etnies album as well as performing as concertmaster for multiple orchestras in all of Orange County.

Her dedication to classical training has propelled her into the music industry not only as well rounded performer but also as an established violin instructor. 

She is so honored to have this opportunity to share her love for music with you soon!”

Gina Dugan:

Owner and Artistic Director of ImprovCity, Music and Tech

“Gina Dugan is a founding member of ImprovCity and the Artistic Director of the ImprovCity Thursday/Sunday cast. Gina is a graduate of The Second City Conservatory and has studied at Upright Citizens Brigade. Besides improv, she is also a veteran of sketch comedy.”

Devin Dugan:

Owner and Artistic Director of ImprovCity, Concessions

Devin Dugan is a professional comedian, director, producer, screenwriter, and author...and sometimes actor and musician. He has performed all over the country for more than 28 years.

Devin was the creative mastermind behind the successful novelty book Improvisers Drawing Stick Figures and has written for Nostalgia Digest magazine. He is a multi-award winning screenwriter with many of his works winning top honors in film festivals across the globe. 

He has written, directed and starred in television, films and commercials, and is the producer of ImprovCity Films, a production company that creates web series, shorts, features and documentaries. 

Devin has also directed live stage plays. Some of his past stage productions include The Cocoanuts, The Werewolf's Curse, The Time of Their Lives, and Les Misérables. He is currently directing a production of Room Service.
